Kyler Reese- Junior; English, Political Science Double-Major Student attending North Carolina A&T State University 

Kyler Reese, Co-Founder and CEO of Pragmatic Prodigies, attends North Carolina A&T State University in Greensboro, North Carolina. Over 1,000 miles away from her Texas home and the birthplace of Pragmatic Prodigies, Kyler recognized the need to bring her passion for equity to her new community in North Carolina. Though she sustained the organization in her first two years through productive use of holiday breaks and help from board members and family support, she felt a deeper calling.​

During her reign as the 2024-2025 Miss Sophomore at her HBCU, she launched a Period Poverty initiative inspired by her foundational work with Pragmatic Prodigies. "Flowing Forward" sparked conversation around  menstrual inequity for good. And with the collection of over 500 menstrual products, she saw it as a calling to do so much more with her platform.

Although her reign has come to an end, Kyler's commitment has only strengthened itself. With this renewed mission, Pragmatic Prodigies has expanded further. This is Carolina Civics, a natural evolution!
